Case Study – Toro Gold

Cloud Email

The challenge

Toro Gold is a gold exploration company focused on Africa. Since 2009 the company has established a portfolio of nine early to mid-stage gold exploration projects across six countries. The portfolio is being developed to provide investors with risk diversification on both a technical and jurisdictional basis. The projects are at differing stages of development to provide near term and future growth opportunities. Prosyn assisted Toro with their migration to a Cloud email platform.

The solution

Prosyn configured the Cloud email platform prior to the migration, and tested it using a test account. A Prosyn engineer also checked that the anti-spam solution was set up to the customer requirements, and that BlackBerry users were set up with the new email platform so there was no loss in service.

The Outcome

Prosyn migrated the emails onto the Cloud email platform and ensured that it was working correctly. Toro Gold now have the same functionality as they would have with their own on premise Exchange email Server, such as access to emails on mobile devices and shared calendars.
